Senior Associate in charge of the design of a 2.34 million sq. ft. mixed use development to served as a new landmark for Qingdao, host city for sailing events during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The design which includes a grade A commercial office tower, a luxury residential condo tower, 4 story retail podium and 4 levels of below grade parking is inspired by the formal and compositional principles of scholar rocks and garden rocks, two traditions that are rooted in the province of which Qingdao is the largest city.
Additional services provided included marketing the property at ICSC shows, canvassing potential tenants, as well as vetting candidate firms for leasing/property management.
